Principal Specialist, Contracts (Onsite)

Job Location Tucson, AZ (1151 E Hermans Rd, BLDG M02) Security Clearance Active and transferable Secret U. S. government‑issued security clearance required prior to start date. What You Will Do Provide contractual guidance to cross‑functional partners to meet customer obligations, achieve company goals, and comply with policies. Represent Raytheon professionally on contractual transactions and develop & maintain customer relationships. Support the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), develop and negotiate proposals, contractual agreements, and general contract administration. Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure compliant execution. Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they arise. What You Will Learn Active role in managing contracts, engaging with program leadership, handling production focused contracts for domestic, FMS and DCS requirements, exposure to business management reviews and quarterly EAC reviews. Qualifications University degree (or advanced degree) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or 3 years with advanced degree). Experience in contracts management or related fields such as program management, business management, subcontracts, or supply chain supporting USG contracts. Active and transferable Secret U. S. government‑issued security clearance (prior to start date). Preferred Qualifications Active Top Secret clearance. Experience in contract negotiations, execution and administration of various contract aspects (price, SOW, terms, agreements). Experience with FAR and DFARS requirements. Experience structuring, negotiating, and executing performance‑based payments. Understanding of financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification. Experience with intellectual property, license agreements, or teaming agreements.
