About the Role:

Sefi Fabricators is looking for a skilled Amada Press Brake Operator to join our team in Amityville, NY. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with industry-leading equipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment where precision and craftsmanship are valued every day.

Responsibilities:

Set up, program, and operate Amada press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate part production

Select and install appropriate tooling, dies, and fixtures for each job

Perform quality checks and inspections using precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions

Adjust machine settings to maintain tight tolerances and consistent output

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards

Identify and troubleshoot machine or production issues to minimize downtime

Requirements:

Proven experience operating Amada press brake equipment in a production environment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications

Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers

Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, tooling, and material properties

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy

Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced shop

Solid understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures
