Director, Lenovo Global Account Manager - ISG/IDG Strategic Program Lead

Director, Lenovo Global Account Manager AMD seeks a highly strategic and execution-oriented Director to lead AMD’s global engagement with Lenovo across its Data Center and Client businesses. The role defines and executes a global program strategy with Lenovo, drives platform adoption, accelerates regional engagement, expands revenue and market share, and strengthens AMD’s position across Lenovo’s full portfolio. Scope and Impact Lead global account strategy and alliance relationship with Lenovo. Align long-term strategies, influence future platform roadmaps, and identify joint growth opportunities. Partner across AMD Business Units, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Regional Sales organizations for flawless execution. Operate at the intersection of executive engagement, platform strategy, AI infrastructure growth, and global account leadership. The Person We’re looking for a leader with a positive, go-get‑em outlook, strong business and sales acumen within the semiconductor space, and the ability to build partnerships across multiple teams and channels. Follow‑through: Power through daily challenges to execute and finish the job. Execution: Fast‑paced role requiring quick action, constant communication, and relentless drive for improvement. Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills, able to connect with executives and customers. Program & Budget Management: Proven success leading all aspects of large sales and marketing programs, including budgets. You Bring Strong drive to win balanced with sound business judgment and integrity. Executive presence, influencing senior leaders internally and externally. Proven success managing strategic OEM, hyperscale, or enterprise technology relationships. Deep understanding of building programs that drive profitable growth. Ability to translate customer priorities into actionable business and product strategies. Strong leadership and collaboration across global cross‑functional teams. Strategic mindset connecting long‑range planning to operational execution. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. Key Responsibilities Business Planning & Operational Excellence Develop and maintain executive‑level account plans, forecasts, and growth initiatives. Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer requirements to influence AMD strategy. Leverage analytics, AI‑enabled tools, and business insights to improve forecasting, opportunity management, and strategic planning. Create the joint business planning framework with Lenovo to set business goals, align on go‑to‑market activities & investments, and track critical metrics. Execute sales strategies for targeted growth through collaboration with Lenovo and AMD cross‑functional teams. Balance influencing desired behaviors across the customer and sales team while enforcing governance and good disciplines. Global Lenovo Account Strategy Own AMD’s global Alliance relationship with Lenovo, serving as the primary business leader for strategy and execution. Define and execute multi‑year account strategies that drive revenue growth, market share expansion, platform adoption, and strategic alignment. Build and maintain strong executive relationships across Lenovo product management, engineering, procurement, sales, and business leadership organizations. Position AMD as a trusted partner and strategic advisor across Lenovo’s portfolio. Executive Engagement & Ecosystem Leadership Represent AMD in executive‑level business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and roadmap discussions with Lenovo leadership. Build alignment across AMD Business Units, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Regional Sales teams. Partner with Lenovo and AMD leadership teams to identify and remove barriers to growth. Coordinate ecosystem engagement with CSPs, enterprise customers, channel partners, and strategic industry alliances. Preferred Experience Strategic Account Leadership Proven success leading large global OEM, hyperscale, cloud, or enterprise technology accounts. Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive long‑term strategic partnerships. Ability to keep a pulse on the market, understand the sales cycle, and structure analyses to generate insight and recommendations to increase sales/market share, all while managing multiple targeted programs both within AMD and Lenovo. Global Collaboration & Operational Excellence Experience operating successfully within highly matrixed global organizations. Strong program management, forecasting, and business planning capabilities. Experience leveraging AI‑enabled tools, analytics, and automation to improve business execution, customer engagement, and operational efficiency. Technical & Commercial Acumen Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts while driving business outcomes. Strong understanding of OEM business models, product development cycles, and go‑to‑market strategies. Academic Credentials Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field required.
