Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions, focusing on various aspects like communication, fluency, language, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and families, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Educate patients and their families to foster ongoing progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, enhancing the continuum of care. Maintain thorough and prompt documentation in accordance with all regulatory standards. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field through continuing education and peer collaboration. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet acquired. Certifications: State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of onboarding. Skills: Expertise in evidence-based therapy methods across age groups, with profound insights into developmental and acquired disorders. Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and fellow team members. Flexibility in adapting therapy approaches to cater to a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
