Job Title: CNA / Nurse Assistant
Location: Newark, NY
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Mid Shift | 5x8-Hour (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Pay: $21–$26/hr

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking CNA / Nurse Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Newark, NY.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, feeding, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, turning, and repositioning
• Perform routine patient care including bed baths, showers, mouth care, skin care, foot care, perineal care, catheter care, specimen collection, intake/output monitoring, and drain output monitoring
• Obtain and record vital signs
• Use patient care equipment including Hoyer lifts, transfer belts/sliding boards, wheelchairs, and specialty beds
• Follow infection control and PPE protocols
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Maintain safe patient handling and proper body mechanics

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of LTC experience
• Experience with patient mobility, hygiene, feeding, and vital signs
• Ability to float based on facility needs
