Senior Accountant

Title: Senior Accountant Company: Technology Industry Compensation: $45-52/hr (DOE) Job Description: * Prepare and record journal entries related to payroll, bonuses, commissions, paid time off (PTO), and employee benefits. * Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies or unusual variances. * Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities by ensuring payroll data is recorded accurately and timely. * Maintain compliance with GAAP and established accounting policies and procedures. * Assist internal and external audit processes by preparing supporting schedules, reports, and documentation. * Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities. * Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve payroll-related accounting issues and ensure data integrity. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. * Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience. * Solid understanding of payroll accounting, accruals, general ledger activity, and
