Overview: The position of Route Sales for Murfreesboro Pure Milk Company (MPM) requires that an individual be able to physically and safely perform the necessary functions of driving, delivering, stocking and ordering the wide range of products that the Company sells.  The position requires the ability to perform tasks on your own without supervision and be able to communicate with both fellow co-workers and others outside of the organization.  

Job Requirements:    

• Education – high school or equivalent preferred
• License – Must be able to obtain a Class B drivers’ license and qualify for coverage as a driver under company insurance
• Physical – Must be able to sit, stand, squat, bend and lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per day as well as be able to climb stairs and climb in and out of trucks
• Skills –  Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and be able to learn basic route delivery functions.         
• Mental –  Must be able to adapt to daily conditions and to be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.  Must show reliability and promptness on a daily basis

Other Information:   The Route Sales position is a 40 +/- working hours per week.   It is a Monday through Friday position with extra days off during the summer.   The compensation is a monthly base pay plus a commission.  A full benefits package is available...from health insurance to a retirement plan and more.

About the Company: Murfreesboro Pure Milk Company, a family owned company since 1929 and a distributor for Purity Dairy since 1967, is located in Murfreesboro, TN.  Recent growth has the company with route distribution on both milk and ice cream in 4 states in the Mid South.  

The specific area of need for this position is in Murfreesboro.   Although a Class B CDL isn't required for employment, it is preferred and will be weighed heavily in the hiring process.
