Job Description
Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Telemetry

Schedule

12-Hour Night Shift, weekends and holidays expected.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 72 Hours Biweekly
Contract Weeks: 8

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• ACLS AHA certification required
• Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam
• Completion of FLU vaccination during compliance
• Charge Nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient health status and respond to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure adherence to established policies and protocols.
• Support patients and families through education and counseling.

Compliance / Notes

All requests for time off must be presented at the time of submission. PASS/FAIL ECG/Telemetry test required prior to assignment, with one attempt to pass.
