Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele in Plymouth, MA. Start date 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,546-$2,745. Guaranteed hours 72 biweekly (approximately 36 hours/week). Shift is 12-hour night shifts (typically 3 nights per week). Travel assignment on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting, focused on geriatrics with behavioral disturbances and medical issues.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, with emphasis on geriatrics, dementia, confusion, and behavioral disturbances.
- Monitor patient status andTelemetry rhythms; assess, document, and respond to changes; administer medications and manage IV therapy as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans; coordinate timely discharges and provide patient and family education.
- Maintain high standards of safety, infection control, fall prevention, and chart accuracy in the electronic medical record.
- Respond to clinical emergencies, escalate concerns per protocol, and participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Complete onboarding requirements as part of orientation, including pass/fail ECG/Telemetry and medications testing with one attempt allowed.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (state licensure as applicable)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience: Med/Surg Telemetry or geriatric care in a hospital setting preferred
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program (BSN preferred; ASN acceptable)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a hospital environment
- Successful completion of onboarding requirements, including ECG/Telemetry and medications testing, with one attempt allowed
