Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional, welcoming environment. This role is ideal for someone who values strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and integrity while working in a caring culture that is agile, reliable, and innovative.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $22.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat12:00 PM - 08:00 PMSun12:00 PM - 08:00 PM### What You'll Do* Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.* Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and/or permissions in accordance with site policies and escalating unusual situations when needed.* Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, offering directions and assistance, and communicating with site contacts regarding security-related issues and/or changing conditions.Minimum Requirements:* Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.* Be at least 21 years of age.* Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.* Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.* A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:* Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.* Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.* Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.* Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
