Trident catches and processes virtually every commercial species of salmon, whitefish, and crab harvested in the North Pacific and Alaska. The global supply chain also encompasses cultured and wild species sourced from an international network of trusted suppliers. Summary This role is remote, based in the Midwest region of the U.S., and requires frequent travel across North America and to the corporate office in Seattle (up to 40%–50%). The Senior Regional Sales Manager will operate in a hybrid capacity, serving as both the primary account leader for Gordon Food Service (GFS) and a growth driver responsible for developing new business across the Midwest region. This role is accountable for managing and expanding a strategic distributor partnership while identifying, pursuing, and converting new customers to drive profitable growth. The position requires a highly strategic and entrepreneurial leader who can balance large-scale account management, distributor execution, and new business development, while operating with a strong focus on results, accountability, and cross‑functional collaboration. Essential Functions Owns and leads the Gordon Food Service (GFS) relationship, including development and execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs) aligned to company growth objectives. Drives volume, revenue, and margin growth across GFS while expanding product mix, distribution, and market penetration. Identifies, prospects, and converts new business opportunities across the Midwest region, including both distributor placements and direct end‑user accounts. Develops and execute regional sales strategies aligned with the broader Foodservice and Trident USA business priorities. Builds and maintains strong relationships with distributor partners, key customers, and internal stakeholders to enable effective execution. Leads customer business reviews (including QBRs) and deliver data‑driven insights, performance tracking, and actionable growth plans. Analyzes sales data, market trends, and customer performance to inform decision‑making and identify growth opportunities. Negotiates pricing and commercial terms while ensuring alignment with margin targets and company guidelines. Partners cross‑functionally (Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Category Management, QA, and Sales Support) to ensure accurate forecasting, execution, and customer satisfaction. Represents Trident in the marketplace through customer meetings, food shows, and industry events, while managing travel and trade spend to maximize ROI. This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $128,000 to $165,000. Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. For full‑time employees, the initial PTO benefit starts at 20 days per year, adjusted commensurate with relevant experience, front loaded on the first of the year, initially prorated quarterly based on hire date. Commuter programs are also available. Ability to travel up to 40-50% of the time. Required Qualifications A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales or related field. Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and years of experience. Preferred Education & Experiences Experience within the Foodservice Segment. Seafood industry experience. Experience in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar systems). Working knowledge of basic financial and margin concepts. Strong customer service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience. Power BI knowledge. Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. In‑office work occurs in a typical office environment: temperature‑controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. Remote employees must maintain an appropriate home office workspace. Work Ability Requirements While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods. The role frequently requires use of hands and arms for computer work. The employee must be able to communicate effectively (talk and hear) and may occasionally stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds.
