Motion Masters Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our rehabilitation center located in Glendale, California. This full-time position will involve direct patient care, where you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to help improve our patients' physical resilience and functional abilities.

Work Environment

As part of our onsite rehabilitation center, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment alongside other healthcare professionals. Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and therapeutic modalities to aid in effective treatment interventions. Operating Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, our center fosters a positive atmosphere where team efforts are celebrated, and patient success is recognized.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients to understand their medical histories, functional limitations, and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Engage with patients through educational discussions and guided exercises, ensuring they comprehend their treatment journey and actively participate in their recovery.
• Administer treatment that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education, while monitoring and adjusting plans of care as necessary.
• Document all treatment services, outcomes, and patient interactions diligently, utilizing the clinic's electronic health record system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from athletes returning to their sport to seniors aiming to maintain mobility and independence. Meeting patients where they are in their recovery and helping them reach their personal goals is the cornerstone of your impact.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and clean licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• A record free of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong foundation in orthopedic physical rehabilitation, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Experience

• Proficient in advanced manual therapy techniques and modalities.
• Experience in developing and implementing therapeutic exercise regimens tailored to diverse patient profiles.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based setting while fostering a positive patient-centric atmosphere.

Compensation and Benefits
