Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' counseling needs to determine appropriate treatment plans.

• Utilize DSM criteria to diagnose substance use disorders and assess clients for suitable levels of care based on ASAM standards.

• Collaborate in preparing comprehensive treatment plans that outline the substance abuse counseling components for each client.
\n
• Develop individualized discharge and continuum of care plans, ensuring clients transition smoothly to the next steps in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all counseling sessions, assessments, and follow-up actions in clients' clinical records to ensure regulatory compliance and continuity of care.

• Manage assigned caseloads, keeping track of case management updates and treatment planning duties effectively.
\n
• Coordinate support services for clients and their families, documenting the provision of these services appropriately.
\n
• Engage with referral sources, including legal, educational, and employment contacts, to support the holistic needs of clients.

• Employ crisis intervention techniques as needed, working with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
