Position Overview Riverside Research’s Integrated Commercial Solutions group is seeking a Data Integrator to lead the end-to-end evaluation, onboarding, and integration of commercial imagery and data into the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) ecosystem. The Integrated Commercial Solutions group operates a broad portfolio of defense innovation and research and development programs for discovery, evaluation, and adoption of emerging commercial capabilities to achieve amplified mission impact at speed and scale for defense and intelligence users. As an Onboarding Specialist, you will provide direct support to NGA’s Commercial Operations Group and function as part of a broader team responsible for providing independent verification and validation of commercial imagery, data, and analytical products. You will manage the onboarding process, ensure data integrity, and facilitate seamless communication between NGA and commercial suppliers. You will leverage expertise in Python, commercial remote sensing systems, commercial GEOINT imagery, and AWS cloud storage and processing to streamline operations and enhance the quality and DoD/IC adoption of commercial products on behalf of NGA. This position is located onsite in Springfield, VA at the NGA Washington Campus. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new products and suppliers, ensuring all necessary documentation and data are accurately collected and integrated Utilize Python to develop scripts and automate processes related to supplier data ingestion and management Coordinate with a team of imagery analysts and scientists who perform independent verification and validation of commercial imagery, data, analytics, and related vendor products Apply your experience with remote sensing systems and EO/SAR imagery to ensure the correct processing and interpretation of supplier-provided data Support AWS resources, including S3 buckets, to store and process supplier data securely and efficiently Develop and maintain schemas for files to standardize data formats and ensure consistency across various systems and cloud enclaves Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial suppliers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any technical or operational issues that arise during the onboarding process Work closely with NGA stakeholders and internal teams, including engineering, operations, and product management, to ensure smooth supplier integration and be able to address any challenges promptly Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the onboarding process, technical procedures, and supplier interactions Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: B.S. degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a focus on supplier onboarding, data integration, or technical support with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, a PhD with 3 years’ experience required Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation Familiarity with AWS cloud processing and S3 storage Experience with EO/SAR imagery processing Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively Provide leadership and guidance to a small team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope, even under tight deadlines Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction; effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills Ability to mentor others and lead technical projects and deliverables within a collaborative and cross-functional environment Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph Preferred Qualifications: M.S. or Ph.D. degree Project or Program Management certifications and experience AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Associate Certification Familiarity with additional AWS services (e.g., Lambda EC2, RDS) Experience with advanced algorithm design and implementation in the areas of commercial remote sensing, data processing, and analytics extraction proliferated Familiarity with the current state-of-the-art in computer vision, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and multi-int fusion as applied to GEOINT data and remote sensing sources TS/SCI with CI poly Global Comp $113,000 - $170,000. This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
