Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms among clients.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address a range of mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder.

• Educate clients and their families about the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices.
\n
• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals for integrated care approaches.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in record-keeping in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Engage in regular case consultations, participate actively in team meetings, and pursue opportunities for professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing challenges related to mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. In this role, you will have the privilege of supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Your empathetic approach will be vital in fostering trust and encouraging clients to engage in their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A current, active LMFT license is required for practice in the state of Colorado.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is necessary.
