Forteza Law PLLC is a  law firm based in Miami, Florida, serving clients throughout South and Central Florida. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our growing team in our Miami office.

About the Role

Forteza Law PLLC is seeking a skilled Paralegal with civil litigation experience to support our attorneys in our Miami office. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in all phases of civil litigation, from case intake through trial.

Responsibilities

·       Assist attorneys with all phases of civil litigation case management

·       Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents under attorney supervision

·       Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and evidence

·       Calendar deadlines, hearings, and filing dates, and monitor court rules for compliance

·       Prepare trial binders and assist with trial preparation and logistics

·       Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors as needed

·       Conduct legal research to support case strategy

·       E-file documents with state and/or federal courts

Qualifications

·       Prior experience as a paralegal in civil litigation required

·       Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred

·       Familiarity with Florida civil procedure and court filing requirements a plus

·       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

·       Proficiency with case management and e-filing software

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to work on-site at our Miami office (not a remote position)

Location & Schedule

This is an in-office position based at our Miami, Florida office. This is not a remote or hybrid role — candidates must be able to work on-site.
