Neonatology Physician Assistant

Facility in Pontiac, MI seeking Neonatology APP locums coverage Rates: $140/hr Opportunity Highlights
- Start Date: ASAP (Ongoing coverage).
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts ( or ).
- Note: Requires both night and weekend rotations.
- Work-Life Balance: No call required.
- Support: Neonatologist is on-site during day shifts (7 days/week).
- Autonomy: The APP works autonomously from 1600 to 0800 with a neonatologist available on call.
- EMR: EPIC.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) protocols.
- Endotracheal Intubation: Securing the airway in respiratory distress.
- Umbilical Lines: Placement of UVC/UAC for fluid and monitoring access.
- Ventilatory Support: Management of mechanical ventilation and non-invasive support.
- Delivery Attendance: Attendance at specified newborn deliveries for immediate stabilization.
- Board Status: Board Certified by a national organization (e.g., NCC for NNPs) Required.
- Experience: Must have prior experience in a NICU/Neonatology setting; no new grads Required.
- Licensure: Active Michigan (MI) State License Required.
- Certifications: Active BLS and NRP Required.
- Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within the last 30 days) must be provided at the time of presentation.
- Conversion: 25k conversion fee required.
