Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Positive Growth Therapy Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of individuals seeking support for various mental health issues, ensuring appropriate diagnostic information is collected.

• Formulating personalized treatment plans grounded in best practices and solution-oriented interventions that reflect the specific needs and goals of each client.

• Implementing a range of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, facilitating continuity of care.

• Collaborating in treatment team meetings with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to discuss patient progress and adapt treatment strategies.

• Engaging in mentorship and peer review activities to continuously improve service delivery and uphold the quality of patient care.

• Offering educational resources to clients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and local community resources that can assist in recovery.

• Staying informed of the latest research, trends, and developments in mental health practices, and applying new insights to enhance therapeutic sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with clients who are navigating detox processes and are experiencing various mental health conditions associated with substance use and recovery. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Your ability to provide a safe and empathetic presence will be essential in helping clients open up and engage fully in their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
