Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in our detox center, you will be tasked with a number of important responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments and creating individualized treatment plans that address each client’s unique challenges and circumstances.

• Providing direct therapeutic counseling to clients, guiding them through their therapeutic journey while helping them establish clear, measurable goals.

• Facilitating therapy sessions that focus on overcoming issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Monitoring client progress, revising treatment plans as necessary, and documenting detailed progress notes and case reports within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
\n
• Engaging in crisis interventions as needed, establishing a calm and supportive presence to de-escalate situations and provide immediate mental health support.
\n
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychologists, and counselors, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Staying informed about current research and best practices in the field of mental health and addiction treatment, applying this knowledge to enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with adults facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges within a supportive detox environment. This client population often presents with complex emotional and psychological needs that require both skillful therapeutic intervention and empathetic understanding. You will play a crucial role in guiding them toward recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active and valid California LCSW license.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
