Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized and culturally sensitive treatment plans tailored to their unique requirements and aspirations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate healing and progress.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care techniques.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a broad spectrum of individuals facing mood disorders including, but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and generalized anxiety. Your expertise will also extend to supporting vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping clients navigate their challenges toward improved mental health, offering personalized guidance and support tailored to their specific life contexts.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
