Work Environment

In this onsite position, you will work primarily out of our clinic with scheduled time at our surgical center, enabling you to engage in both outpatient care and procedural treatment settings. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate pain conditions, ensuring accurate diagnoses lead to effective treatment plans.
• Develop individualized pain management strategies, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach when required, including referrals to physical therapy and collaboration with other healthcare providers.
• Administer a range of pain management techniques, such as joint injections, nerve blocks, epidurals, and alternative therapies, adapting your approach based on each patient's unique situation.
• Engage in monitoring and documentation of patient progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to enhance recovery and mitigate discomfort.
• Provide thorough patient education regarding treatment options, self-care strategies, and potential side effects to empower patients in their healing process.
• Participate in continuous professional education to remain knowledgeable about emerging pain management techniques and advancements in the field.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that patient confidentiality is upheld.
• Coordinate care with mid-level providers (PAs and NPs) for effective follow-up and comprehensive patient support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients experiencing chronic pain, including conditions such as lower back pain, knee pain, and osteoarthritis. By focusing on individualized care plans, we aim to address not only the physical, but also the emotional aspects of pain management. Your role will be pivotal in creating tailored interventions that lead to meaningful improvements in our patients' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Pain Management or related field.
• Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in Texas, with the ability to prescribe medications.
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a focus in pain management or related area; additional pain management fellowship training is a plus.
• Proven experience treating diverse pain conditions, with a robust understanding of pain management techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring thorough documentation and care coordination.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in performing interventional pain management techniques, including but not limited to, joint injections, nerve blocks, and PRP injections.
• Familiarity with using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for patient documentation and care continuity.
• A commitment to lifelong learning and professional development through continued medical education (CME) opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 350,000 to 500,000 annually, supplemented with performance-based bonuses. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
