Work Environment

This position is based onsite at a state-of-the-art surgical center, designed to ensure a serene and efficient experience for both patients and healthcare providers. Our facility includes modern consultation rooms, diagnostic areas, and treatment spaces that promote collaboration among the care team. Working hours for this role are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant specializing in pain management, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients experiencing chronic pain, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Diagnosing a range of acute and chronic conditions based on patient assessments, laboratory results, and imaging reports, ensuring adherence to approved clinical protocols.
• Collaborating closely with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary team members to create and implement effective pain management plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Utilizing your knowledge of musculoskeletal and pain medicine to prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions, carefully explaining options and expected outcomes to patients and their families.
• Performing thorough physical examinations to monitor patient health, adjusting care strategies as necessary to maximize therapeutic effectiveness.
• Contributing to interdisciplinary meetings to discuss cases and improve treatment protocols while maintaining clear and detailed documentation of patient interactions and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at Virtuous Healthcare Practice predominantly consists of adults suffering from chronic pain due to a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal disorders, postoperative pain, and neuropathic pain syndromes. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• An active state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Physician Assistant, with a strong focus on pain management or musculoskeletal medicine.
• Exceptional communication skills that enhance patient education and promote collaborative care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
