Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations to accurately diagnose the underlying causes of patients' pain, integrating physical assessments with psychological and social evaluations.
• Design individualized treatment plans that combine pharmacological interventions, non-pharmacological therapies, and interventional strategies to address diverse pain management needs.
• Offer ongoing support for patients suffering from chronic pain, with a focus on improving functional outcomes, reducing pain intensity, and enhancing daily life quality.
• Manage acute pain situations resulting from injuries or surgical procedures, applying evidence-based practices to alleviate discomfort and support recovery.
• Prescribe necessary medications while understanding potential risks and benefits; monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust plans to cater to patient preferences.
• Conduct and supervise interventional procedures, including nerve blocks and epidural injections, to provide targeted pain relief.
• Educate patients on pain management techniques, encouraging active involvement in their care through self-care practices and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) of patient histories, treatment plans, and follow-up evaluations to ensure continuity of care.

The Physician Assistant will primarily work with a diverse patient population experiencing various pain conditions. Qualifications

• A valid medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits
