Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations to establish baseline health metrics.
• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians and other medical professionals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Prescribe necessary medications and therapies, ensuring compliance with best practices and patient safety protocols.
• Perform various pain management procedures, such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, in accordance with your training and credentialing.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting findings and adjusting treatment plans based on patient response and clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records utilizing our advanced EMR/EHR system.
• Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing training, workshops, and seminars to remain current with industry best practices and advancements in pain management methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population affected by chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and post-surgical pain syndromes. Our patients vary in age and background, providing you with a unique opportunity to apply your clinical skills and empathy in various contexts. Qualifications

• A valid and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant studies; a Master's Degree is preferred.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach that prioritizes the needs and comfort of each individual patient.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in pain management or a related healthcare field, which provides a solid foundation for understanding complex pain syndromes and treatment modalities.
• Experience performing interventional pain procedures is a strong plus.

Compensation and Benefits
