Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations for patients with personal injury claims, providing accurate assessments that guide treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications, including NSAIDs, muscle relaxers, and topical medicated patches, while carefully monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatments as needed.
• Order and interpret MRI scans to aid in diagnosing conditions, ensuring that all imaging accurately informs patient care strategies.
• Utilize telehealth platforms for remote consultations, ensuring continuity of care for patients unable to visit the facility in person.
• Refer patients to physical therapy and specialty care as necessary, collaborating with pain management specialists to provide comprehensive treatment.
• Maintain meticulous medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, confirming that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Engage with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, to develop and implement optimal patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
