Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to trauma alerts, conducting initial assessments of patients' conditions to determine urgency and necessary interventions.
• Stabilize critically injured patients and provide immediate, life-saving medical care aimed at preventing further deterioration.
• Assist in resuscitation efforts by performing life-saving interventions during emergencies and ensuring effective coordination of care.
• Conduct physical examinations and interpret diagnostic results accurately to guide treatment decisions.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while effectively monitoring patient responses.
• Support the trauma team in invasive procedures and wound management by contributing your skills to complex cases.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families about trauma care processes and recovery expectations.
• Facilitate the transfer of trauma patients to higher acuity settings when necessary, ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with various healthcare professionals to maintain seamless communication and care coordination for patients.
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols in accordance with hospital standards and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients who present with acute injuries or critical medical conditions. Qualifications

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, particularly within emergency medicine or trauma care.
