Key Responsibilities

• Respond effectively to trauma alerts, assessing patients' conditions rapidly and accurately.
• Stabilize patients presenting with critical injuries, providing immediate interventions to prevent further complications.
• Assist in life-saving resuscitation efforts and deliver emergency treatments during critical situations.
• Coordinate care with the trauma team and other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive management of trauma patients.
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient adherence to care protocols.
• Assist with invasive procedures and implement wound management techniques as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma care and post-recovery protocols, fostering a holistic approach to healthcare.
• Oversee the transfer of trauma patients to appropriate units, facilitating continuity of care across departments.
• Monitor patients for any changes in condition, addressing pain and discomfort effectively.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards in trauma care environments, promoting a safe patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant will work primarily with trauma patients, including those with acute injuries resulting from accidents, falls, or other medical emergencies. This role entails working with patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, necessitating a compassionate approach to care tailored to individual needs. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, followed by completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

• Demonstrated experience in emergency medicine or trauma care for at least 2 years.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma assessment protocols, stabilization techniques, and emergency procedures.

• Outstanding communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• The capability to adapt to rapidly changing scenarios and manage urgent patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in trauma units or emergency departments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with trauma-specific medications, procedures, and treatment methodologies.
• Awareness of infection control practices unique to trauma settings.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and education in trauma-focused medicine.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 140,000 to 180,000, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
