Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and detailed medical histories.
• Order and interpret a variety of laboratory and diagnostic tests to identify patient needs and health issues.
• Prescribe and implement therapeutic treatments based on approved protocols, ensuring efficacy, safety, and consideration of costs.
• Create and manage comprehensive, outcomes-based patient treatment plans in partnership with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide counseling to patients and their families regarding medical processes, medication management, nutrition, and preventive health strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care plans and treatment outcomes, initiating referrals when necessary.
• Offer specialized consultation-level services related to the primary focus areas of the surgical center.
• Manage patients in diverse healthcare environments beyond the primary clinic, including inpatient care and emergency services.
• Perform designated invasive procedures as delegated by supervising physicians, ensuring adherence to established competencies.
• Be available for additional patient care duties as needed to fulfill department coverage requirements.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
