Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical assessments of patients with acute and chronic health issues, ensuring capture of complete medical histories and physical examinations.
• Develop suitable treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, including ordering tests and prescribing medications according to established protocols.
• Effectively manage common illnesses in an outpatient clinic setting while ensuring timely referrals for complex conditions to specialty physicians.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, EKGs, and radiographs, ensuring appropriate follow-up care.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention tailored to individual needs and health literacy levels.
• Document patient interactions accurately using electronic health record systems to maintain comprehensive patient records compliant with regulations.
• Initiate and monitor treatment protocols, providing ongoing patient education and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse range of patients, including families, children, and individuals with varying health backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physician Assistant license to practice in Texas.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Physician Assistant.
• Strong knowledge of medical laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing patient care.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this position ranges from USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
