Work Environment

Located onsite at a leading hospital in Arlington, TX, our urgent care facility operates during the evenings from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive patient examinations and reviewing medical histories to assess health concerns and establish diagnoses.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood work, X-rays, and other imaging studies to inform treatment decisions.
• Diagnosing and treating a range of acute health conditions, including but not limited to respiratory infections, minor injuries, and other urgent medical needs.
• Formulating and executing tailored treatment plans for patients with chronic illnesses, working closely with patients to monitor progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Prescribing appropriate medications, ensuring ongoing evaluation of their effectiveness and addressing potential side effects.
• Maintaining meticulous patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Providing education to patients and their families on health issues, preventive measures, and chronic disease management strategies.
• Promoting healthy lifestyle choices and preventive practices among patients to enhance their overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program and a current California State Physician Assistant license (PA-C).
