Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical histories, to facilitate accurate diagnoses and informed treatment plans.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and specialists to deliver well-rounded healthcare, ensuring all patient needs are met.
• Perform thorough physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and devise tailored treatment strategies based on each patient's individual needs.
• Administer vaccines and medications, while also developing educational resources for patients on preventive healthcare and lifestyle adjustments.
• Manage chronic conditions by monitoring patient progress and coordinating necessary referrals to specialty care when applicable.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for precise and timely documentation of patient interactions, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives, staying current with the latest advancements in medical practice to enhance patient care.
• Promote preventive health measures to optimize patient wellness and enhance their overall quality of life.
• Provide compassionate care, nurturing strong relationships with patients and their families across diverse populations.
• Uphold ethical and legal standards in all medical practices, maintaining confidentiality and patient trust.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant will serve a broad patient population at Captive Health Clinic, spanning from infants to seniors. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active PA Certification and state license
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies preferred
• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Physician Assistant is necessary

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a physician assistant in a family medicine or primary care setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
