Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed medical evaluations and pain assessments to accurately diagnose patients' conditions, taking into account physical, psychological, and social factors.
• Create personalized treatment plans that consist of medical, pharmacological, interventional, and non-pharmacological methods tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide continuous support and care to patients with chronic pain conditions, focusing on maximizing their functionality while minimizing pain intensity.
• Address acute pain situations stemming from injuries and surgeries, utilizing established evidence-based approaches aimed at reducing discomfort and facilitating healing.
• Prescribe and manage pain relief medications with careful consideration of their risks, benefits, and patient preferences, continuously monitoring their effectiveness and any adverse effects.
• Perform interventional procedures such as nerve blocks and epidural injections to assist in pain management.
• Educate patients on pain management strategies, enhancing their involvement in their care through self-care techniques and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) reflecting thorough documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and assessments.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
