Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant in our Urology Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed patient interviews and compiling medical histories to inform clinical assessments.
• Performing physical examinations, ordering laboratory tests, and interpreting results to establish diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribing medications in accordance with institutional agreements while optimizing patient safety and efficacy.
• Documenting patient interactions, treatment plans, and health assessment data accurately to facilitate coordinated care.
• Serving as a key communication link between the urology team, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Triage phone calls, provide instructions, and address patient inquiries regarding medications, biopsies, and test results.
• Engaging in clinical trials related to prostate biopsy techniques, including recruiting participants and analyzing study data.
• Maintaining ongoing professional development through continuing education and training, ensuring compliance with state licensure requirements.

Qualifications
