Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments through comprehensive medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations to create accurate patient profiles.

• Collaborate with supervising physicians to design and enact individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, focusing on effective pain management and rehabilitation.

• Perform necessary procedures and minor surgical interventions to help alleviate pain and enhance patient functionality, always under the mentorship of attending physicians.

• Educate patients regarding their medical conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes that may positively impact their health and mitigate pain.

• Maintain meticulous medical records, ensuring thorough documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, procedural notes, and follow-up care to facilitate continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant in our pain management department, you will engage with a diverse patient population experiencing varying degrees of chronic and acute pain. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.

• Demonstrated strong clinical skills with the capacity to operate independently within the approved scope of practice.

Compensation and Benefits

Life Stance Physician Assistant Clinic offers a competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
