Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialty healthcare aimed at addressing chronic pain effectively, focusing on the specific needs of each patient.
• Utilize innovative, evidence-based opioid alternatives to manage pain conditions while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Develop and administer personalized treatment programs that include non-operative and operative spine management, as well as orthopedic and radiological services.
• Engage in ongoing fellowship training to enhance your skill set and stay ahead in pain management practices.
• Coordinate comprehensive evaluations and management for patients with chronic pain, ensuring a holistic approach to their treatment.
• Participate in continuous education and mentorship programs designed to bolster your clinical expertise and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your efforts will particularly impact underserved populations in rural areas. The Nurse Practitioner will serve patients within a two-hour radius from the Dallas site, helping to bridge the gap in access to quality pain management services. This commitment to rural healthcare ensures that all patients, regardless of their location, receive the care they deserve.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• A Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner Studies is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and an in-depth understanding of pain management issues.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Previous clinical experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, functional medicine, or family medicine is highly desirable.
• A passion for serving the healthcare needs of rural communities will set you apart from other candidates.
• Experience with the latest pain management technologies and methodologies is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Southern Pain Management Center values its providers; hence, we offer a competitive salary range between USD 120,000 and USD 220,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, our benefits package includes medical and dental insurance, a robust 401k plan, and comprehensive paid time off (PTO). We also provide reimbursement for Continuing Medical Education (CME) and offer mileage reimbursement for travel to rural locations.
