Registered Nurse – Acute Care

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
Contract Weeks: 6

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification: Required
AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
At least two years of recent experience in the field: Required
Experience with EMR systems (EPIC and Cerner): Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and nursing processes.
Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide patient care in a safe and caring environment.
Collect and analyze relevant data pertinent to patients' health.
Develop and implement care plans and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes.
Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Compliance / Notes:

All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter.
