Work Environment

The Physician Assistant will operate primarily onsite in our Surgical Center, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where clinicians are encouraged to practice at the peak of their licenses. Our day-to-day environment is dynamic and involves engaging with patients in a clinic-based practice, without any call responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own patient panel, offering comprehensive care to women in various stages of their lives, while also assisting with physician overflow.
• Provide patient evaluations, conduct physical examinations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Perform a multitude of procedures, including IUD placements, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, colposcopies, and wellness examinations, based on the necessary training.
• Utilize the EPIC Electronic Medical Records system to document patient encounters efficiently and accurately.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with a robust Advanced Practice Clinician council to enhance service delivery.
• Engage in ongoing leadership training and professional development to advance your career within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves female patients of diverse backgrounds seeking comprehensive OB/GYN care. As a Physician Assistant in our clinic, you will address a wide spectrum of health concerns, from routine wellness exams to more complex reproductive health issues. Your role will directly contribute to superior health outcomes by providing anticipatory guidance and patient education.

Qualifications

• Obtained a Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Physician Assistant (PA) certification and unrestricted state medical license are required.
• Proven completion of a full COVID-19 vaccination, adhering to federal and state mandates.
• Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to handle time-sensitive clinical decisions.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology or a related healthcare field is preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR is advantageous but can be learned on the job.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary between USD 140,000 and 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
