Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients experiencing various types of pain by conducting thorough interviews and physical examinations, as well as documenting patient interactions in our electronic medical record system.
• Under the supervision of board-certified pain management specialists, collaborate to order appropriate lab work, imaging studies, and referrals to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment plans for patients.
• Assist the attending physicians in collecting and analyzing data to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment protocols, contributing to our ongoing quality improvement initiatives at the pain management clinic.
• Engage in clear and empathetic communication with patients, discussing the results of diagnostic tests and setting achievable goals within their tailored treatment plans.
• Manage and refill non-controlled pain medications, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to established protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and development, utilizing best practices and staying updated on the latest in pain management methods and technologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients suffering from chronic pain conditions, which may include post-surgical pain, neuropathic pain, musculoskeletal disorders, and other related conditions. The Physician Assistant will be instrumental in guiding patients through their treatment journeys, fostering a therapeutic alliance built on trust, empathy, and shared goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state license as a Physician Assistant.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience of two to five years in a clinical setting, ideally within pain management or a related specialty.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy and handling laboratory procedures.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, enabling effective management of patient care alongside administrative tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, reflecting experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
