Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients experiencing various pain conditions, utilizing interviews, physical examinations, and documenting findings in our electronic medical records system.
• Collaborate closely with supervising pain management specialists to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Order necessary laboratory tests, imaging studies, and consultations, interpreting results to help inform diagnosis and treatment strategies.
• Engage with patients by discussing diagnostic test results and clearly explaining the goals of their treatment plans, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
• Refill non-controlled pain medications, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the ongoing evaluation of treatment effectiveness by collecting and analyzing patient data, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within our pain management clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Surgical Physician Assistant will work primarily with patients suffering from chronic pain conditions, ranging from acute pain post-surgery to long-term, complex pain syndromes. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
