Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current approval from the Michigan Department of Education as a School Social Worker
• Demonstrated experience working with children or youth in educational settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to support students’ academic, social, and emotional needs effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted school social work interventions to students in grades K-5 and grades 3-5, spanning three school sites (including a nonpublic school)
• Manage a caseload of approximately 43-48 students, tailoring strategies to individual and group needs
• Conduct assessments, develop service plans, and monitor student progress
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being and success
• Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and resource referrals as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality standards
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to advocate for student support
