Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for new clients through a standardized intake process, identifying their unique mental health needs and developing rapport.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions for clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and relationship issues, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's goals.

• Lead couples and family therapy sessions to support clients in enhancing communication skills, resolving conflicts, and improving relationship dynamics.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include specific goals, interventions, and measurable outcomes to track client progress.

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization support for clients experiencing acute mental health crises.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping mechanisms, and resources available to facilitate recovery and wellness.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation in alignment with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and informed consent.

• Stay current with ethical guidelines and legal regulations affecting the practice of counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will reach a diverse array of clients, including individuals and families from various backgrounds in Atlanta and surrounding areas. Clients may present with a range of concerns, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, relationship conflicts, and life transitions. Your expertise in providing culturally sensitive counseling will help tailor your interventions to meet the specific needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
