This role is responsible for general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities across a diverse portfolio of hotels. The Staff Accountant prepares financial reports, analyzes variances, and ensures compliance with US GAAP and company policies. Partnering closely with hotel and corporate teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, this position offers exposure to innovative hospitality strategies, performance-driven operations, and opportunities for professional growth within a leading real estate and hospitality management company. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries for multi-property hospitality portfolio Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations on a monthly basis Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Assist with preparation of internal financial statements and management reports Analyze variances vs. budget/forecast and explain key drivers Maintain compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies Coordinate with hotel and corporate teams to resolve accounting issues Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests Contribute to process improvements and automation within the finance function Collaborate cross-functionally to provide data-driven financial insights Required Skills General ledger accounting Account reconciliations Month-end and year-end close US GAAP knowledge Financial reporting Variance and trend analysis Accounts payable/receivable processing Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) ERP/GL systems (SAP/Oracle/Net Suite) Budgeting and forecasting support #J-18808-Ljbffr
