Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCCs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) who are ready for the 2026–2027 academic year are encouraged to submit their credentials for a rewarding contract position. This role begins July 30, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027. Please note, candidates will be interviewed first; exact worksite assignments will be shared closer to the school year’s start. All positions are onsite only.

Qualifications:

• Current, active Texas SLP or SLPA license (SLPAs must already hold their license to be eligible; this is a requirement)
• Documented school-based experience providing speech-language therapy services
• Eligible candidates must be able to provide a screenshot of licensure with submission
• SLPA candidates must have self-obtained licensure—no supervision hours will be offered for new grads
• SLP-CF candidates are not eligible for this opportunity
• Must have reliable transportation
• Experience with diverse and/or bilingual student populations is a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services in a school setting
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP development
• Adapt strategies to meet varied student communication needs
• Navigate between school sites, as assignments are announced closer to the start date
