Field Sales Representative - Flexographic Plate Solvent and Distillation Location: Fairfield,NJ, US Date Posted: 09-10-2026 Job Description Experience: Mid Level Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year Job Details Develop new business opportunities within the flexographic printing, solvent, and distillation equipment markets Identify and pursue prospective customers throughout an assigned territory Build strong relationships with plant leadership, operations, maintenance, engineering, and purchasing teams Conduct on site customer visits approximately four days per week Present and sell solvent solutions, distillation equipment, and related products and services Learn the technical aspects of our equipment to effectively communicate features, applications, and customer benefits Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment and solvent solutions Prepare proposals, quotes, presentations, and sales recommendations Negotiate pricing and terms while maintaining strong customer relationships Maintain regular communication with existing customers and identify opportunities for additional business Partner with technical and service teams to ensure customers receive excellent support after the sale Assist with equipment demonstrations, installations, training, and customer follow up when needed Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide updates on opportunities, forecasts, and customer activity Help grow the sales organization with the opportunity to eventually build and lead a specialized sales team Qualifications Previous B2B, industrial, manufacturing, equipment, or technical sales experience preferred Flexographic printing, solvent, distillation, machinery, or related industry experience is a major plus Strong technical aptitude with the ability and willingness to learn complex equipment Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills Strong consultative selling and negotiation abilities Highly motivated and comfortable working independently Organized with strong time management and follow through Comfortable prospecting and developing new accounts Willing and able to travel approximately four days per week Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically A bit about us: We are seeking a driven, high-performing sales professional to spearhead our expansion in the flexographic plate solvent and distillation unit sector.
