Enterprise Information Technology Change/Transition Manager

The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for Enterprise Information Technology Change/Transition Manager, GS-2210-13 at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, Illinois. Salary Range: $109,137–$141,880 based on experience. Relocation incentive may be available. Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1‑year probationary period or a 2‑year trial period. This position can close at any time. Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a transition manager and cross‑functional team leader responsible for transitioning Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) solutions and overseeing AF‑level EIT Service solutions across all Air Force EIT portfolios. The role involves leading the development and deployment of IT service request workflows within ServiceNow, establishing how the Department of the Air Force (DAF) routes IT requests for approval and implementation for approximately 850K users. Qualifications U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Designated Drug Testing Position. Must be able to obtain and maintain Information Assurance certification within 6 months of assigned duties. Strong knowledge of IT systems, principles, facilities, procedures, practices, and methodology, including Government and industry standards (Enterprise IT Service Management (EITSM) system such as ServiceNow). Experience in IT systems management, oversight, performance management, hardware operation, configuration, policies, and procedures, ensuring effective asset management and EIT Service oversight within the DAF EITSM system. Experience in requirements analysis, assessing capabilities of systems relative to established requirements, and determining impacts to related/dependent systems.
