Senior Accountant

The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for assisting in the monthly close for their assigned region/markets. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness of the monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Responsibilities Review and prepare property billings & revenue recognition Track billings to ensure all expected billings are completed monthly Manage and maintain GAAP based general ledgers Prepare monthly accruals, reclasses, and other required JEs Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including AR, Pursuit Costs, Deposits, Intercompany, etc. Update commissions schedules and calculate commission payments Understand and abstract new contracts for entry into Oracle Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for assigned markets Handle other duties as assigned by Controller Desired Competency, Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree in accounting 2-3 years of accounting experience; Commercial property accounting preferred Solid understanding of GAAP financials Exhibits strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills High degree of professionalism in addition to excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet tight deadlines High proficiency in EXCEL All job offers are contingent on completion of a background check and proof of eligibility to work in the United States. #J-18808-Ljbffr Lincoln Property Company
