Postdoctoral Fellow - Stem Cell Transplantation Research

A postdoctoral fellow position is available in a lab focused on advancing research in hematologic malignancies, with an emphasis on cancer stem cell biology, disease progression, and treatment resistance. The lab integrates translational and clinical research approaches, including studies in multiple myeloma, acute myeloid leukemia, and pancreatic cancer, with opportunities to contribute to innovative therapeutic strategies and clinical trials. Learning Objectives Apply technical expertise and experience to plan, coordinate, design, supervise, and carry out research projects. Plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and participate in scientific research projects. Assign and review work of subordinates, determine specific goals or objectives to be attained, evaluate resulting research data, and revise techniques or approaches to work problems. Compile, write and submit reports to superiors. Eligibility Requirements Recent Ph.D. degree in Natural Science or related field, with lead-author publications. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently within a research team. Independent career path pursuit is highly preferred. Position Information MD Anderson offers full-time postdoc positions with a salary ranging from $64,000 to $76,000 depending on the number of years of postgraduate experience.
