Global Manufacturer is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Specialist to own the day-to-day AP and AR processing inside an ERP system for a manufacturing operation: invoices verified, matched, and posted accurately; payments prepared and tracked to receipt; bank accounts reconciled daily. You'll work closely with Purchasing, Sales, and Inventory Control, and produce the weekly reporting the business runs on — cash flow, AP/AR, and GRNI analysis.
What You'll Do:
- Accounts Receivable: generate and distribute invoices, validate payments against invoices, record transactions in the ERP, and make AR follow-up calls until payment is received
- Accounts Payable: validate and enter invoices, post material receipts, match invoices to packing slips, obtain W-9s for new vendors, and prepare payment batches
- Verify, allocate, and post business transactions — sales slips, invoices, receipts, check stubs
- Reconcile bank accounts daily
- Run weekly Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) analysis
- Prepare weekly cash flow reports and AP/AR reports
- Maintain financial records through balance sheet and general ledger analysis
- Resolve problems and discrepancies with vendors, customers, and internal departments
- Provide clerical/administrative support to management and assist on special projects
Must-Haves
- 2+ years of experience in a comparable corporate accounting role
- High school diploma plus college-level accounting coursework (or equivalent)
- Solid grounding in basic accounting techniques
- ERP/MRP system experience; Excel proficiency
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong verbal and written communication
- Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interface with vendors, customers, and all levels of management
Nice-to-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Microsoft Great Plains, AX, or D365 familiarity
