Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and compassionate Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a key member of a flourishing team of imaging specialists providing exceptional care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, explaining each step with clarity and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Utilize and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and uphold patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Excellent technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
