Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Telemetry rhythm capabilities. - Able to assess med-surg level patients and alert Charge RN / Manager / Rapid Response / Provider when acuity level changes.

Unit Details: - Adult med-surg/tele trauma unit. - Patient ratios: Dayshift 1:4-6; nightshift 1:5-7. - Typical procedures include IV fluids, tube feeds, PEG feedings, and IV antibiotics.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts a pay period.

Floating Requirements: - Float to other med-surg units and occasionally to the holding pod of the ED.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
